The Red Dune Camp is situated on farm Tranendal, South of Gochas (S 25º 07’ 48.6’’ , E 18º 56’ 56.9’’) in the South East of Namibia, on the road from Stampriet/Gochas (C15) to Mata Mata. It is a mere 155km from the Mata Mata gate of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park and 35 km from Gochas, the nearest small town.

The Red Dune Camp currently comprises of 4 exclusive self catering camp sites on top of a red Kalahari dune.These unique camp sites are a down-to-earth and close-to-nature experience. At the farm yard are 5 grassed camp sites and 2 Bed & Breakfast rooms and a Semi-Luxury Tent .

The area also offers a wide variety of birds, insects and small animals to be observed. Spectacular sunsets and brilliant star-studded African night skies are at the order of the day.

Breakfast and dinner is served at home or at the "boma" at the farm yard, or alternatively game meat and drinks etc. can be purchased for self catering campers.
