After travelling in Namibia we can say that your place is really a special one. The scenerie of your campsite and the luxury tents is very hard to compete with. We will come back, for sure.
06/11/2011; At the end of our trip in Southern Africa, we travelled to MataMata in the Kgalagadi. We stayed at one of the campsites on the top of the dunes. It was magical; the colours are beautiful,we had a clear sky, stars...silence. The bushshower, toilet etc 'didn't disconnect' you from your surroundings... We were sorry we had to leave, but I hope to visit Red Dune again!

Hallo liebe Leser dieser Gästeseite. Wir waren im Jahr 2010 in Namibia bei Pieter und Marita. Es hat uns so gut gefallen, dass wir jederzeit wieder dorthin fahren würden. Last time we fell in love with this beautiful campsite 1 at the Red Dune. This time we got married here and it was a dream wedding. The dune itsself, the landscape, the sunset, the colors, the loneliness under a wide starry sky and especially our hearty hosts made our stay and the hole ceremony so unique and unforgettable. The most important thing for us is that they made us feel home and welcome. Therefor a big THANK YOU! They have organised so many things to make our wedding possible and everything was perfect. Gustav the priest spoke so wonderful words. We did not know him before, but from the beginning he was so likeable and he organised and took care for all the needed documents. Not to forget Christel, Pieter and their catering-team. They made a very delicious dinner, some lekker starters and a great wedding cake! Thank you all so much for having us!
The Liebenbergs made us a special wedding surprise and renamed “campsite 1” as “campsite Claudia”. YIPPEE!!!
To all the future guests: Come and visit this wonderful place. Enjoy the nature, the wide spaces, the loneliness at the dune, the sunrises and sunsets – feel the freedom! It´s one of the best places to stay in Namibia!

In nur noch fünf Tagen werden wir das vierte Mal im Red Dune Camp sein. Es war immer wunderbar! Pieter, many thanks for your hospitality! Hope we will arive the Camp despite the flooding of the Auob. Totsiens!

Wir sind über 6000 km durch Namibia gefahren und haben einen unvergesslichen Urlaub erlebt, mit den unterschiedlichsten Naturplätzen. Aber der mit Abstand schönste Platz war auf der Red Dune! Allen späteren Gästen wünsch ich viel Spass und einen unvergleichlichen Sternenhimmel!
Ein einmalig schöner Platz auf der Düne und sehr nette Gastgeber!!! Danke für diesen schönen Aufenthalt!
Namibia is such a beautiful and diverse country. a must see is the Kalahari with its wavy fiery red dunes. We spent an unforgetful night with the Liebenbergs and were treated to Oryx steaks and game wors Braai. Our breakfast was also as superb. We visited the Camp sites which are perfect for experiencing Kalahari sunsets or stargazing under a crisp clear sky. Wish we could have stayed longer.. Everybody wishes this!

We (12 men with 6 jeeps) really enjoyed this great and peacefull place on our trip, it was one of the best campsites. Also the Oryxsteaks that you gave us, were great and fills our empty stomachs and gave us back the strength for the journey.

This Place is very unique and special...means the time we spent there was breathtaking amazing...such a beautifull place indeed!!!
So i wonder a little bit the new Homepage ("nice page...congrats") but i hope to look ahead this place will not be a busy one and don´t open up to mass tourism.
Please keep this place as natural and calm as possible ;-)
